About Me
My journey, my interests, and what keeps me grounded.

My name is Moksh Shah, and I'm an undergraduate at Texas A&M University studying Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science. I don't just build intelligent logic; I build the strategy that makes it scalable. I am fascinated by how we can take the extreme precision of engineering and apply it to the complex, organizational challenges of the real world—pairing technical excellence with the strategic business logic needed to drive innovation forward.
My sense of responsibility as an engineer is deeply rooted in my upbringing in Ahmedabad, India. Growing up near an Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) center, I saw a stark contrast: advanced space technology existing alongside vibrant communities that were often underserved. Watching those two realities coexist left a lasting impression on me. It taught me that technology is only as good as the strategy behind its impact. This is why I refuse to stay in a technical silo. I want to understand the physics, the software, and the business logic that ensures innovation actually reaches the people who need it.
This commitment to inclusive progress naturally extends to how I engage with others alongside my technical work. Teaching and leadership have become the ways I give back to the communities I'm part of. Through tutoring, I've found fulfillment in helping classmates reach moments where things finally click. Through my leadership with TAMU ThinkTank, I've focused on creating accessible, hands-on engineering opportunities. What matters most isn't the position, but being able to support others, lower barriers to entry, and help build environments where people feel encouraged to learn and contribute.
Outside of academics, I try to make space for the things that keep me grounded. I played varsity tennis in high school and still enjoy being on the court whenever I can. It is one of the few times my mind fully disconnects. I also play the flute, which has stayed with me as a way to engage with music and tap into a more creative side of myself. I'm also very interested in learning about personal finance and applying these financial principles in my own life.
All of these pieces, including engineering, teaching, leadership, and the interests I carry outside of work, shape how I approach both problems and people. I care about doing work that is technically thoughtful and grounded in strategic business decisions. As I continue to grow as an engineer and strategist, maintaining that balance between technical challenge, organizational responsibility, and community is something I value deeply and intend to carry forward.
